Exselent E is a complementary feed formulated to provide high-strength antioxidant nutrients as part of a balanced diet for horses in training or competition. It combines Vitamin E, Vitamin C and selenium with plant-based ingredients to support normal muscle function during periods of increased physical demand.

Antioxidants play an important role in maintaining the normal balance between reactive oxygen species produced during exercise and the body’s natural defence systems. Exselent E also supplies lysine, an essential amino acid involved in normal muscle function, alongside omega 3 fatty acids to support a normal inflammatory response

Key Inclusions & Benefits

Antioxidants are essential for the normal function of healthy muscles. Antioxidants are needed to maintain a healthy balance with reactive oxygen species (ROS) that are naturally produced during exercise or times of increased stress. Dietary antioxidants form an important part of maintaining healthy muscles for equine athletes.

Vitamin E & Vitamin C – are potent antioxidants that work together providing sustained and effective antioxidant support for hard working muscles, supporting recovery and helping maintain ease of movement.

Rosemary & Liquorice – provide additional plant-based antioxidant support complementing Vitamin E and Vitamin C.

Lysine – is a key amino acid required for muscle development and is part of maintaining normal muscle function in response to the demands of training.

Omega 3 Fatty Acids – supports a normal inflammatory response.

Directions For Use

A complementary feed for horses to be given as part of a balanced diet. For 500kg horse: 50g per day split over at least 2 feeds. 25g (approx.) measure enclosed. Maximum 100g per day.
