My Bio:

“I’m an Irish Grade V Paralympic dressage rider competing internationally with my mare Savona. I began para dressage in 2021, and in that short time I’ve gone on to represent Ireland at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games and the European Championships in Riesenbeck, Savona is an 18-year-old German Warmblood by San Amour who, thanks to Horse First supplements, still feels full of energy, she’s opinionated and sensitive, but always gives everything for me in the ring. After losing strength and movement in my left arm due to cancer as a child, horses helped shape who I am today, and that same determination continues to drive me on the international stage.

One of my proudest moments was being selected for the Irish Para Dressage team at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, where I rode a PB to finish seventh in the Grade V Freestyle Final, an unforgettable experience and Ireland’s best para dressage result of the Games.

My main goal for 2026 is to qualify for the FEI World Championships in Aachen, with the longer-term aim of securing a place at the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic Games. I’m also passionate about helping to strengthen the pathway for para riders in Ireland, so more athletes have the opportunity to reach the highest level of the sport.”
